Upholstery Care – General care tips

• Re-arrange loose cushions weekly and vacuum often to remove grit that can cause abrasion

• Be careful of other dyes which could transfer on to light-coloured upholstery and carpets (such as from throws and denim)

• Protect upholstery from direct sunlight as this may cause fibre degeneration and colour fade

• Keep pets off the furniture. Pet urine and pet body oil can be difficult to remove

• Use proper care with structural weave fabrics (design created by the weave) to protect against snags

• Do not pull snags or loose threads as this may cause further damage. Sew them into the back of the fabric with a needle.
