Company History

In 1987, Guardsman was established in the UK as premier provider of furniture protection and in the early 1990’s, FurniturePro’s sister company, Safeclean, was acquired to add a cleaning division to Guardsman’s service arm.

Both companies are now part of the Valspar corporation with a $2.2 billion turnover and 8,000 staff worldwide.

FurniturePro was born out of the 10 year success of its USA branch and is established around the successful business model of sister company, Safeclean. Together Safeclean and FurniturePro can satisfy the full range of furniture care needs.

FurniturePro specialists use a unique range of products, the majority of which are own-label. They have been developed in conjunction with major manufacturers in the US and Europe to ensure the highest standards of repair.
